Lehman Fall 2021

Hi, I'm currently a Lehman student applying for the fall 2021 session. I just made this thread to find anyone else who's applying for fall 2021. Feel free to share GPA's, HESI scores and even ask questions or give advice!

I am scared! I looked at my degreeworks and it doesn't seem like Donna may have done what she needed to after our meetin (not surprised) but when I look at CUNY 1st it is all there- I emailed them- Praying!

You didn't receive an e-mail yet from the Nursing Department?

Also, my scores are:

Science GPA: 3.8
HESI: 94.6%
Critical Thinking: 920

I have not! did you? I thought they went in strict GPA and HESI score order. I just got off a call with an advisor who is sending an e-mail to Dr. Dyer and someone else. I am very afraid that me being a transfer something got messed up. OMG I am stressed!

Congrats! I don't get anything yet- everything is submitted- I had to be re-admitted recently but that is just clerical- I would be crushed- I worked so hard and earned my seat.

HI tera,

the last year, I did not received the acceptance letter email via lehman email. so I had to reach out so I did zoom meeting with the chairman and one more faculty. They said they sent it to me but it was not. later on they realize that the person who are charge in sending out typed wrong name ( she made mistake with my family name)

so please double check with them

otherwise, it kept causing problems. later two more time  I could not receive important email, such  about clinical placement letter and my classes were not scheduled.. so I had to do the second zoom meeting with the chair man to fix.. it was not only me ( my friend also)

once someone input wrong email, it keep cause problems..

your GPA is great, I think you should reach out the chairman if you do not get it by Friday.

When I sent an email to chairman I made a title as "super urgent" and put my empl ID and name on title. so she can think my email is not spam

Thank you! I agree and things have become 100 times more difficult in terms of communication due to everyone being remote and generally e-mail only. I did a zoom call today with a nursing advisor named Hernandez-Acevedo and she e-mailed Dr. Dyer and Dr. Dobson to make sure there was nothing administrative wrong with my application. I also followed up with my own e-mail. Yesterday I e-mailed Dr. Georges and Dyer. I have not gotten any replies. I feel helpless and also like if I keep bothering them they will hate me!  Sigh. I applied last year and everything was set- then 2 days before I was to sit for the HESI they closed all the test sites. So I have waited a year- had to resubmit everything- How did you get a zoom appointment with the higher-ups?

I recognize you and I had read you post in last year. I feel you and understand you. here same..I finished my pr nursing in 2016 at LaGcc and I could not apply because I did not have Green card.. expected to have the green card 2014 ( that was why I studied pre nursing from 2014. )  USCIS rejected my green card in 2017 and I had to re apply and then I got it in Oct 2019. I was so happy I could be able to apply for nursing program but Pedemic .... I had to drop out 2 weeks before the program because I have a family who is lower immunity ( I had to give up the clinic to protect my family).. So, I do understand your feeling and frustration ... Do not let fear eat you.. that I learned from the last year ...

@Tarafive, 

Check your degree works again to be sure the course you are scared of it's being transferred is actually checked and you don't have anything to worry about.  Your grades are very good so at this point, just visit degree work to be sure nothing is still needed and everything is checked
