Lehman Fall 2021

Hi, I'm currently a Lehman student applying for the fall 2021 session. I just made this thread to find anyone else who's applying for fall 2021. Feel free to share GPA's, HESI scores and even ask questions or give advice!

I just finished my degree their I took psy 240 developmental psychology however when I received the transfer credit report from Lehman the class transfer as child psychology so I’m not sure if this a mistake on their end.

Maybe email addmission the course description so they can see they covered the lifespan development instead of just child psych. @tayseldom

That is not their mistake! you will not get psy 240 credit as hin 268 because Hin 268 is "psy 240 plus one or two more chapters about geriatric( life of elder)" according my hin268 professor  Nichole, it is not the same. I took psy 240 in community college, Lehman college did not give me a credit. I tried to get psy240 credit and talk to nursing dept, they asked me attached description from cuny evaluation. finally I gave up. it was wasteful time for me.  However, the content  you will study in hin268, it is almost same content with psy240, you will have benefit from what you learned from previous psy240.

In any case you can do what I’m doing. I enrolled in CLEP for human development and growth it costs $89. I’ve been reading free texts on cuny library and I also subscribed to a $60 clep prep on study.com to help me while I’m on the go. I will take the exam sometime next month before the semester end.

I got mine too but it’s not confirmed till we pass the calc class so final on Friday @Bknursing
