is a legally blind nurse allowed to work?

Hi I am a legally blind who can read and write but need bigger funds and bright light in order to read and write I came recently to USA so I was wondering if anyone could help me with my question so that I can decide and start my processing for rn in USA I would be really appreciated if anyone answers my question and also would be glad if I can talk to any legally blind nurses who are working currently and all others can give their kind suggestion and knowledge you k ow about legally blind nurses thankyou

Are you already a nurse? Or are you asking if it is possible to become a nurse when legally blind?

i was a RN back in my country I just came to USA 6 months back so when I came here when doing my eye examination I was put in catagory of legally blind. That's why I have not stated my process for RN in USA coz I really need to figure out if I am allowed to work as a nurse.

so that I can start my paper work for RN . Currently I am working as a CNA in a nursing home
