Nurses Activism

Published

Hello,

Im contacting this forum, for urgent advice. My friend and fellow nurse, has been doing agency work (prev. A&E worker) during the summer, has had an incident regarding documentation and the place she was working has suspended her.

After speaking to my friend, i asked are you still with the UNION (UNISON) and they said "no", eek! I told my friend to contact them and UNISON said they'd have to wait 13 weeks until they can help :(

The question im asking, is there any other bodys/forms of nursing legal representation that she can use (and pay for) as the case is a joke in itself really and they are making a mountain out of a molehill and thus making my friends life a living hell.

please help.

Much Appreciated.
