Legacy RN Residency Winter 206

U.S.A. Oregon

I haven't seen a thread for this cycle so if one already exists, please direct me to it!

Anyone here apply and get invited to the first round interview on November 16th?

I interviewed for OR at Mt Hood Medical center in Gresham. I live in Bend which is about 3 hours away and have no intention of moving, just commuting, so I will have to see what happens, in all the time I have had to wait it out I am reconsidering if the schedule will work out for me. I don't know. The waiting has become somewhat annoying.

If you did the background check, you made it one step further than me, so there may still be hope! Good luck, and yes, commuting from Bend would be a challenge, but if you're able to make it work, it would be an amazing opportunity.

Thanks for the words of encouragement!!! best of luck to you!!!!

Has anyone heard anything? :/ I'm think I'm losing hope. Does anyone know of any residencies that are still accepting applications?

Hey there, I was told about 1 week ago that they were waiting to hear back from all the hiring managers and we would hear from them on or before the 25th. Asante in Southern Oregon has a new grad program that may still accept applicants as of today...that is in Grants Pass Oregon. The next Legacy application cycle begins in Feb or March

I am curious when you go onto the Legacy portal do you still have the option, in blue letters, to withdraw your application? It says in the text above that section that jobs that have that option are still open to the applicant

Yes I have been on my portal and it still says I have the option to withdraw my application but I don't think they fix it until the deadline. I have not looked above that section though, and I heard about the Asante, thanks though :) I'm trying hard to stay in the Portland area but it doesn't look very promising

thank you for the feedback about the withdraw application feature, I was hoping it was an indication of still being in the game...what position/hospital did you interview for?

in other news...I am sorry to hear that you are having a hard time being hired in Portland..Central Oregon is pretty challenging as well!!! lets keep our heads up and hearts open..I have observed that I am consistently drawn to the perfect scenario again and again!

I applied for an OR position with Emanuel :) and may I ask what you mean buy perfect scenario?

I interviewed for OR in Gresha. What i meant by "being drawn to the perfect scenario" is when i allow myself, and surrender, i always find myself in the most beneficial places/scenarios, regardless of what i had originally planned. Will you let me know what happens for you? and i will do the same...it would be nice to know what has happened for others...

Yes I'll let you know, hopefully we hear something this week :/

Received my "no thank" email today...please let me know if you got it so I can be super excited for you!!!!
