Lee College Fall 2016

Published

Hey everyone!! Just wanted to stop by and ask if there is anybody out there that is applying to Lee College in Baytown for the ADN program in the fall.

Hello! Is anyone trying to do the transition from LVN TO RN in lee college for Fall 2016? Have you received your admission letter yet by any chance? I am trying to take the critical thinking section because i didn't take it when i took Hesi in another school? What did you study for critical thinking please? What kind of questions are on there?

Shabba, the transisions first semester is an 8 week class and starts mid October. They don't get to those applications until all the generic students are processed. We start back up on Monday, so they will probably start calling after that, but I want to say I didn't hear anything until the middle of September. Then you have a few weeks to get everything completed; physicals, shots, etc. Lee is SSOOO last minute at everything. I don't remember what exactly was on critical thinking, but it was pretty easy.

Thank you so much smrslr for your response! How is the program going so far? I also heard that you will not exactly graduate within a year,say let's say you get admitted in October, the expected graduation date will be May 2018..Is that correct? Is the program tedious at Lee college?

Smrslr, RN

I see you mentioned that you started the transition program in Oct 2015 and should finish May 2017, you're in the program 17 months before you graduate?? I'm applying for the transition program for fall of 2017, I wouldn't graduate until May 2019? I'm just verifying because I emailed and asked what the length of the program is and the response I got was that it's a 12 month program....is it the breaks that cause it to be so long? Thank you!

Smrslr

Can you shed any light on the mobility exam? Please and thank you!

Hi, I see you have gotten accepted at Lone Star, congrats! I have a question about the Lee program, Oct. '17 start would graduate in May '19? I emailed about program length and was told it's a 1 year program but I see Smrslr, RN says differently so I'm just trying to figure it out. Thank you.

Hi! I go to Lee. I started in August of 2016 and will graduate in May of 2018. I'm not in the transition program, so I'm not sure of the start date but if you start the program this year, then you will graduated May of 2019. There aren't any classes during the summer, unless you fail pediatrics or Med Surg 2 and have to repeat.

Thank you for your reply! It was helpful and now I can stop worrying about it. It does seem like a long program but having time off in the summer is good to regroup. Thank you!

@Hopeful100

Congrats on your achievements thus far!

I see that you are a current nursing student at Lee College. I just got accepted into the Generic ADN program for Fall 2017.

I sent you a private messages instead of posting on here because the message was too big for a comment. If you have a moment out of your busy schedule, I would appreciated your help. The message is regarding the uniform guidelines and the stethoscope requirement.

Thank you in advance!!

What is the passing score for their HESI and can one combine two different results?
