Just wondering how the first semester is going? Do they offer any evening nursing courses? Are there any clinicals in the first semester? I am planing and hoping to get in for the fall 2012 and was starting to try and work on my schedule as far as working!!! Thanks and I appreciate any replies!!! Good luck by the way! :-)

hello my long-lost comrades! not sure if anyone noticed by this semester has flown by! i'm getting so excited about entering the program in 2012. i feel so much more... i dunno... alive since i decided to follow my heart in nursing. believe me, the financial part of following that dream has not come easily. i just find i'm more thankful each day. the worries and fears i had concerning my own ability to learn seem so silly now.

i hope everyone who is in the lcadn program is kicking bootie and i hope those of us who are anticipating are keeping our perceptions positive!

see you guys soon!!! :dncgbby::dancgrp:

hello all,

long time no chat! another successful semester is coming to a close. i got a b in micro and i think i'll be getting an a in pharm & life span... so, the question is--what now? i think i am afraid of being rejected--so nerve-wracking!!!

i now need to find a first aid / cpr class in the area to get that pre-req out of the way... any suggestions????

jae

If you are still needing to know where to take these, I took mine at Baystar on Alexander in Baytown. They charge $40 for each class.

I am thinking to apply in Lee college. But my GPA is very low around 3.0

I am taking A&P 2 and Micro this semester, I will try to get an A for those classes.

But still my GPA will be low.

any chance of getting accepted ?

My GPA is 3.3 so I'll let you know. I am turning in my application this week. Being "in-limbo" is the worst part of the application process. Good luck!

was wondering if you got the word yet.:nurse:

I haven't heard anything yet. How long does it usually take? Mrs. B called about a question she had on my app but it wasn't the kind of question I was hoping for :uhoh3:. I hope I hear something soon... This limbo stuff is for the birds!

Your call is coming believe me the time will be here before u know it....u should get your package by next month....keep on eye on the mailbox starting next month.

Good Luck!

I'm crossing my fingers! I love this forum, it's like being with people who understand the time, energy, and emotion that goes into Nursing. It takes a special few to be a good nurse and I sincerely believe we are here for the best reason--to help others. Good luck to everyone who is applying!!! Hard work and patience will pay off in the end :yeah:

When do they start sending out acceptance letters or phone calls? Im so nervous and hope I get in for this coming fall!

Look for a letter beginning of May. I think they started sending them out close to finals time. If you get a little envelope, it means you were either wait listed or not accepted. Be hoping for a giant packet! lol

Good luck to you all. I just signed up on this forum but I'm a Level 4 nursing student, graduating in May!
