I am having difficulty getting started with this assignment and need some direction!
First: You are an Academic Nurse Educator in a BSN program that is struggling to remain accredited. The accreditors have identified a weakness in curriculum rigor.
Specifically, the curriculum lacks learning activities designed to challenge the critical thinking abilities of the 4th year nursing students.
2nd: You are asked to participate in a nursing course revision and produce a sample module for an Advanced Medical/Surgical Nursing course.
3rd: You will suggest 4 topics to embed within the course.
Finally: Need to create 1 activity to assess the learning outcome based on Blooms Taxonomy that would elevate student thinking to level 5 and 6 of the cognitive domain.
Justify your rationale for choosing this activity. What problems might you encounter?
Can someone please give me some direction. feeling overwhelmed!!

I highly recommend "Clinical Teaching Strategies for Nursing" by Gaberson & Oermann. I think the latest is the 4th ed. Oermann has several texts that are very valuable reference for any nurse educator. I think it's available on Amazon for ~ $50-ish. Enjoy.
