HI guys,

Eagerly waiting with ya'll. The points system I saw was the 6 points that you can receive for 1-veteran, 1-currently student/local, 4- points for classes taken prior to applying. After those points then the sum of the 2 test come into factor, and after that its GPA of prereqs until the spots are filled.

Good luck to you 2. Hope we hear some news sooner than later

Welcome! 5 points here as well, not a veteran. 87 TEAS and 80 Kaplan. Are you applying for the online, on campus, or both? I wonder how many applicants there were this year? I've signed up for both but am hoping for the on campus as I live in Longview and they graduate a term earlier. Here's hoping someone will get some news tomorrow!

I literally cannot stop refreshing my phone email....ugh.  I'm so not patient, at all.

With your scores I don't think you'll have an issue getting in! I applied for online since. I live hr away and  I'll still be working full time until next Summer with clinicals and such. I believe the online is what fills up first usually.

Still waiting....?

There are 144 applicants for this cycle.  This information came straight from Bev when I emailed her back on July 25th to ask a few questions.  That's sooo many people....I'm so nervous.

Shoot I must have been tired cause I totally lied ? I got a 78 on the Kaplan, but still decent.

I have also been refreshing like non stop, trying to distract myself but minimal effect...

YAY! So I talked to Bev and they offered me an on campus spot but not until next Spring ?

I'm waiting to talk with my husband about it, but was wondering what you guys are planning to do for the 10 weeks of clinicals?

Also, just spoke with my friend who also made it in and she scored 87 TEAS and 68 Kaplan, so I think we're all good in this group!

Congrats! I also got in!!

As for clinical, I've been saving PTO and talking to my employer which is willing to work with me so I only have to work a few days that are not covered by PTO...I saw that it's like 40hrs a week..not trying to work 2 jobs.

You should do the e-learning with us!  We could all graduate at the same time and YAY!  LOL

For clinicals, depending on where my clinical site is, I'll either commute...or if it's too far, I'll get an airbnb for the days/weeks of clinical.  I have a husband/kids, but he's a stay at home dad so we're covered in the childcare area.  As for working, I currently work 2 jobs, but I plan to go down to 1 during school and then use as much PTO as I can from the other job to take time off during clinicals.  That workplace is super flexible, so when I run out of PTO I can just take a leave during that time.

I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself...and I'm at work right now.  I just wanna go home and freak out, LOL!!!

I already work 2 jobs, I'm not trying to work 3.  LOL!  CONGRATULATIONS!!!  We should make a facebook or something for our COHORT.
