LBCC Spring 2019

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello Everybody!!

I applied to LBCC's ADN program this past week and would like to connect with other students that also turned in their application for the upcoming spring term. I do not really know the selection process for the program, but my stats are listed below.

My stats:

Science GPA: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

Can some body tell me what the pre-reqs are? The site says A&P, Micro, Psych, Eng 101 and math 120. Compared to other nursing programs i'm looking in to thats the least amount of pre reqs. Am i missing something? Did you take anything else?

Required Coursework:

*Reading Proficiency - This gets waived if you pass the Reading Proficiency test at LBCC or have a Bachelor's Degree.

*Math 120, 130a, or 130

*English 1

*Information Competency (English 1 or Library)

*Psychology 1

*Sociology 1

These following courses are recommended for admission and must be completed to graduate from ADN program:

*Humanities and Arts Course

*Speech 10, 20, or 30

*Technology Course

*P.E. Wellness

I believe people that completed those extra courses have a higher likelihood of getting into the program.

Do you guys by any chance know where LBCC tends to send their students for clinical rotations?
