LBCC Fall 2020

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello future nurses,

I haven't seen anyone make a thread for LBCC for Fall of 2020 so I decided to make one. We should talk here about our statistics and just questions overall.

So to whoever applied, what were your stats?

Agreed you gotta keep trying. 5th time applying and landed alternate and just got moved to accepted list. A spot opened up. I'd like to exchange info ?‍♀️

Yay CONGRATS ! Email me so we can exchange info ! My email is [email protected]

For anyone who got into the fall 2020, what was your GPA? I know they only take applicants based on GPA and also once they admit you do you only need to get a 62% on TEAS to officially be in?

For those who got accepted what were your GPA scores? I am applying for the Spring 2021 and really nervous. I’ve taken the TEAS already.

Hey girl, same I am also applying! I am so scared about the process as well. I believe this semester is 50% lottery of 3.5-4.0 GPAs, I have a 4.0 science GPA right now but still have to take my TEAS. How are your stats?

Hi Erika!
My Science GPA is a 3.3. TEAS 80.7%. So I’m averaging a B. I hope it’s enough. It’s so competitive.

Good stats! They don't even look at our stats though unfortunately, since it's all lottery and competing with people in your GPA range so I believe they take 10 students randomly who have between a 2.5-3.0, 10 from 3.0-3.5 and 20 from 3.5-4.0. Lottery systems make me so worried since it's all random

Yikes! So the wait after submitting the application is going to be brutal. Sounds like it’s luck of the draw. What other schools are you applying to? I’ll be applying to Palomar and Santa Ana as well.

Yes!! That's why I prefer point system but I love LBCC so it's worth a shot LOL and I am applying to Glendale, Riverside, College of the Canyons, Cypress, Chaffey, LAVC, and Mt. Sac. I am applying to a lot just to maximize my chances to get in this time LOL are you a first time applicant too?

Dang girl!! Good thinking! Good luck!
Yes I’m a first time applicant! I didn’t realize how tough it’s been to get in! My overall GPA is not that great.. yikes LOL! It’s catching up with me that I didn’t take previous courses seriously before I thought about applying for Nursing school. Keep me posted on if you get accepted.

Hi, Will you all be applying this August?
What kind of supporting documents are you adding to the application?

Yes I am applying this august and from what I heard, there are no supporting documents. They base their acceptances only from GPA and lottery system, so I just sent my transcripts to apply
