Hello fellow students I recently applied at lbcc for the fall 2019 nursing program. I was wondering if anyone has heard back yet? Good luck to all that applies.

I see. My Science gpa was about 3.75
i hope thats good enough... I remember the counselor saying they will choose some from the high mid and low gpa groups... Which I dont like...
what was your gpa?

Are they going to ask us to send the scores later?
How do they make a decision of acceptance or denial without our TEAS score?
Im sure they went over it during information session but I don’t remember...
from my understanding they select randomly but accept more students within the 3.5-4.0 gpa range followed by some from 3.4-3.0 and 2.9-2.5 or something like that. if you are accepted then they will schedule to take your teas test.

My science gpa is 3.8. But yea they select 20 students randomly who have the gpa from 3.5-4.0 and 10 students from 3.4-3.0 and 10 students from 2.5-3.0. Also, they pick 20 alternates.
Good resource to use for TEAS test is the momentrix TEAS study guide. Another thing to brush up on is Chemistry as the TEAS test does have quite a few questions in your science portion of questions. Also Life science and physiology part. I think if you brush up on these subjects from the book you can do really well. Grammer is a big thing also (which honestly I really don’t understand why, but just know it)
