Hi Drea,

I just got accepted into the Summer program this year. I’m praying the Summer program is able to start?

I am starting at Lawson State. I am transferring from Jeff State. Can any one tell me about the HPS 103 (Foundation Compet. Health Science) and Mth 186 Medical Dosage and Calculations classes at Lawson. I was thinking about taking one of these over the Summer 2020. Depending on the demand of each class, I was thinking about taking both to help boost my score for when I am ready to apply for nursing school.

Any advice would be great!

I took HPS103 and the class is very informative. I was thinking about taking mth186 even though I was admitted to the Summer program.

SO I am taking A&P2, Eng 101 and HSP103 for the fall semester.

What was your score you made overall when you got accepted?

I am hoping I make an overall 32. I am going to have to take my ACT again since they have stopped giving the ACT residual on campus at Lawson.

Fill me in on your experience of applying.

If all goes as planned, I should be ready to apply for the nursing program after the Spring semester so I can hopefully start in the fall.

How was HPS 103 and did you ever take MTH 186? I’m starting both this week. This is my first semester at Lawson so I’m trying to learn as much about the nursing program. Does anyone know what is a good amount of points to have before applying? I’m taking classes at Jeff State as well.
