265 last question was a SATA etc

Published

Hi all i was wondering if you get to 265 on the nclex and your last question is a SATA, med math etc do you have to get it right in order to pass?

Yes you need to get it right.

Kaplan says that if you were over the pass line whether u got it wrong or right you passed but if you were under the pass line whether you got it right or wrong you failed. It all depends on if you were over the pass line.

your last 60 answered questions should be above passing standard.

thats the 2nd rule of nscbn passing criteria.

pass and fail rule is not anymore applicable after reaching 265 questions

The second time I took the test, I went all 265 questions. My last question (with about 8 minutes left) was a drag and drop about correct use of a bedpan. I was so sure I'd pass since it was alt format so I went slow, made sure I got it as right as possible but I still failed. I wish we could see a detailed breakdown of where we were related to the passing line.
