Hi everyone!

Just wanted to see if anyone else applied to Lanier Tech's LPN program at Oakwood?

Hi guys so has anyone gotten there letter yet. I got a letter saying i was selected as an alternate. And i have to come to the meeting on the 15th. I pray i get in. Being a nusre is my dream. Wish me luck and thia is still good news to me. I hope everyone else got something great.

That is great news! I will know what my letter says sometime tomorrow. It has arrived but I won't be back home until then.

YAY! I am so happy for you Lakef88! I was definitely praying for you! I am also like you, I want to be a nurse so badly.

The letter I received stated that we have a meeting on 4/17 at 5 pm to receive pertinent information regarding the program. The letter states that we will need to come prepared to purchase Nursing uniforms. Advisement for classes will also be received on this date.

Maybe they are doing a different date for alternates? Either way, I am overly excited! Again, CONGRATULATIONS!

Do you know if you were selected as an alternate? That still gives hope.

Thank you. I got the same date for the meeting so i hope i get accepted? I know it means someone else possibly could lose thier spot but im excited and i will definitely be there. Lol i may just get there early to make sure im on time.

Have faith you could be an alternate also. I didnt even know they did them. If not this semester, maybe next time.

Thank you but I had someone open the letter and no unfortunately I didn't get in..Im so sad I want this badly but it must not be time. I will try again for the next semester and other schools as well. Best of luck to you all!

I had a 3.5 and 70 teas. I shouldve prepared alot better. But i now know better

Alot of the girls i work with said to try ga piedmont. They have saud great things. I guess it depends on where you live. I will pray you get ypur dream also

You are so welcome Lakef88. My letter did not mention anything in reference to being selected as an alternate, but it did say that if I don't show I will forfeit my place in the program! So don't lose hope.

I know usually with other programs, if you are selected as an alternate you are usually in. Being placed on an alternate list, means you are just waiting on a spot to become free. I think you are in!

Thank you. I hope i am. And congrats on being selected. You worked hard for it. I didnt know they did alternates but hey i will take it. I wonder how many alternates were chosen?

Hey so everyone who got in has received an email i know 4 people that got in that got emails and some have not...last time the same happened so they send emails first then letters...its an assumption but emails were sent to those who got accepted so if you didnt recieve one then im assuming that the letters are going to be denial letters..:-(
