Hi everyone! I will be applying for the September 2019 nursing intake at Langara. Anyone else feeling crazy about it???
Hey everyone,
I just signed up to let those who are waitlisted know that I highly recommend getting a bachelor's degree in whatever you're interested first before applying to Langara's nursing program. I know it sucks not getting accepted but you know what? Spend the next year(s) completing a degree that you're very interested in (it doesn't have to be science related) and have fun learning and socialize in whatever school you’re attending.
I have a bachelors degree from SFU (non-science related) and got accepted into Langara's nursing with a 3.14 GPA on the prerequisites... so ~B average. All I can say is that I had a blast completing a bachelor's degree that's totally unrelated to nursing and making long lasting friends without having much stress. I also have this bachelors degree now to fall back if necessary. In a sense, it has made me a little smarter in the world... not too much though!
I've also got VCC's acceptance letter this year after 2.5 years wait and now BCIT wants me to do a quiz presumably to assess my English proficiency (I applied to BCIT February 2019). Moreover, I hope you all know that I'm not being cocky because quite frankly, I have no intentions in making people feel spiteful but it really is the less stressful way to get in. Let me know if you have any questions for me, I'll try to answer any questions.

I’m applying for the January 2021 intake because that’s the only intake that they will accept my application because I’m starting the pre requisites this fall 2019! Where did you take your pre requisites??
