Hey guys!
Is anyone planning on applying to Langara's January 2019 intake?
Did anyone apply close to the deadline date (within a month) and still get accepted? Does when you apply affect your priority for acceptance?
I took the wrong English course equivalent to ENGL 1129/1130 at Douglas and so I'll have to do it this September. Even though the application deadline is January 31st, I'm not sure if applying late will affect my chances of admission even if my GPA is higher than the average.
Edit: I just noticed that the admission requirement says " English 1129 or 1130 (or any other additional university-transferable English course)". Does that mean that ENGL 1106 from Douglas (which is uni transferable) would work since it doesnt specify that I need equivalent?
Thank you!

Hey! I applied like two weeks before the deadline and got accepted. It doesn't matter when you apply, as long as you submit your transcripts before the final day.
I took English 1106 at Douglas and it transferred over to Langara but on BC Transfer Guide it doesn't show 1106 as being valid anymore. I'd email Langara and see :) good luck!
