i am applying to the bsn program at lamar university and have finished my pre requisites with a b in a&p 1 an a in a&p 2 and an a in chem. however i took the hesi the other day and did absolutely terrible on the a&p section. i was wondering if anyone knew what sections of this test were looked at the most. my understanding is the hesi is only required to be taken there is no minimum acceptance scores for any section of the test or the whole test for that matter. we were also told that the main sections of the hesi considered would be the reading comp and the grammar sections. i did well on bio with an 80 and 90 or above in all the other sections. i also have a previous degree which i'm told would help in the admissions process. i was wondering if anyone may know if what i was told is true. any help would be greatly appreciated.
