Just started Lamar program 9/17/2012. Computer final later this week. I took Nutrition at Odessa Jr. College online and it was not a problem. Very well done. Let me suggest that you take Patho online before 2013. It is not that hard. If you take it you will have more time for the Assessment class. My credit transferred from Paris Jr. College and that was a 16 week course. Again that class was well done. You can find some 8 week online classes I am sure.

How was the computer class? Are the test proctored?

Nutrition was not proctored, multiple exercises, tests. Patho at Paris Jc had 3 proctored tests but was still not really hard as it is a compliation of A and P and Micro. Many slam dunks. Fifty ? over an hour x 3 are proctored. Books and out of district tuition are less than 400$. Not a lab class. Look at NMJC.edu for shorter time frames. Odessa has quick Nutrition class.

Anybody applying to their lvn-rn online program for 2013? Anybody take heir online nutrition class? Just lookin for se insight. Thanks

I took the nutrition class through Lamar. It is very informative and the professor is very helpful with any question you may have. I have applied to the program for the start date in January 2013. Just waiting on my acceptance letter. Has anyone had an issue in finding a place to do clinicals?

Just finished and passed RNSG 2535 got an A 93.69%. Getting ready for clinicals RNSG 2361 starting on Monday Oct.29. Last day of class March 24, 2013. Graduating hopefully God's willing by May.13, 2013. Good luck my lower class colleagues. You'll gonna sail it through smoothly as well. Prayers and studying hard made me through this "almost there" program.
