Lamar State College LVN to RN

Published

Any one in this program? I am looking it to it as it is the cheapest option I have found... Seems a lot like excelsior with the exception on clinicals (how do they do them?)????

Please help! Class started today and I cant get in blackboard. Anybody else having this problem?

I didn't have any problems with Blackboard. Maybe reboot your pc?

mrllangston, thanks for responding. I have tried on several computers. Is ther anything that has to be done on the orientation? When I click log in from that page it takes me back to the previous page.

Ok, I figured it out. I'm in blackboard and didn't know it. It's different from the blackboard that I'm use to.

I am very curious in finding out how this Lamar LVN to Rn program is about? I have looked at their website and I sent for an ifno brochure. I also gave read some on the postings. Some made me nervous and others just real excitied. I am ready to start looking into an online program and this program sounds reasonable. I am a single mother and I can not afford to do the traditional route this time around. I am from the DFW area and I also looked into this other program here in dallas called WCU and they are very very expensive.

For me I found Lamar better than Angelo University which offers thesame Upward Mobility Nursing Program. I am almost finishing the program. March 24,2013 last day of class. May 10, 2013 graduation day. I cannot to wait to finish.

Good luck to all the RN's to be who just started Sept. 17. Hang on tight. I have been there. I am almost to finish the program I am taking RNSG 2535 Part 2 of med surg. The 10 weeks clinicals. Last day of class March 24. Graduation May 13, 2013. I am so excited.

UT Arlington has a program you may be interested in. They do require you live in the DFW area. Search "UT Arlington academic partnership program"

Hi, I have to take RNSG 1423 over :( The book you said helped you, test for success for beginning nursing where did you get it? And is that the only resource you used?? Please advise.
