Lamar - Beaumont, Tx. Spring '12

Is anyone going here in the Spring semester? Anyone been there or could give me some information on the school? I'm not from beaumont but will be attending Lamar in January and from what I've read here, I need some comforting advice/tips/facts.. How come I don't see many from this school in the past either?! Thanks!

Hello,I'm so happy to find someone attending Lamar in Spring 2012. I'll be attending the same program, I just received my schedule today:) It's really a wonderful school..so far. Hopefully, it'll be all I dream of:)

I am going to Lamar for nursing in the spring also. It is a good school small class sizes and pretty friendly students and staff as well. I am not a big fan of the area but it's not terrible. Pretty laid back for the most part. Any other questions info that might help just ask. Where area are you from?
