  1. Good luck guys. I've decided I won't be attending this semester. I am waiting to stay in Austin and not have to move.nthanks and good luck!
  2. Is anyone going here in the Spring semester? Anyone been there or could give me some information on the school? I'm not from beaumont but will be attending Lamar in January and from what I've read here, I need some comforting advice/tips/facts.. How come I don't see many from this school in the past either?! Thanks!
  3. Hi guys. Does anyone know where I could find a pathophysiology class in Houston that would transfer for sure to Lamar? I called them and they said that a syllabus has to be turned in for them to see if they would accept it or not. I am trying to apply right now at san jacinto JUST to take this one class. Its a bit far from my house so wondering if any of you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance! Also, I've looked at HCCS and LONESTAR college. They both have Pathophysiology - HPRS 2301. Anyone familiar with these courses?
  4. Did they tell u you were accepted!? I just got a call I've been on the waiting list too. I couldn't find a patho class on time either but they wouldnt tell me if I was accepted or not. They only called to verify me taking it for summer I were u on the waiting list at all!???
  5. saraiish, i'm pretty much in the same boat you are, except I finished all my pre-reqs. do you think having retakes will affect us much? i know they count the last grade but im scared because I've taken AP I about 3 times but i've made an A the third time and also an A my first time with APII. Good luck on your TEAS exam!
  6. Ahh I've actually be waitlisted there:( is that where you're going this fall?
  7. Aimee, I'm just concern b/c on the school website it say u could only retake the test once. I'm pretty sure if I could take it again, I'll be ready. So when they sent the score to the school, wouldn't the other 2 test results be on there too? And if you're taking your test in October, wouldn't u be able to apply for the Fall deadline?
  8. You should def. take it again! I wasn't prepare when I took it for the second time. The school that I am applying to say we can only retake it once, anyone know if there's anything I can do?? I failed one part of the test (a&P) and the first time I took it without completing all the required sections! Bad, I know....but is it too late if the test is the one the school wants? Do I have to apply only to those that doesn't take HESI exams????
  9. oh thanks! really appreciate it!:loveya:
  10. Hi Everyone, I made some really bad mistakes my first two years of college and so my grades are horrible! I took the classes again and was wondering if I should just give up nursing school or will I still have a chance?? Please give me any advice you might have. I'm planning to apply to Texas Women in Houston, TX because I know this is one school that will take only the highest grade when calculating GPA. Here are my grades so far....I know they're horrible but if I could get in I am going to stay focused! BTW, I just turned 21 so I am ready to start focusing on finiishing school so please, be nice but honest!! Thanks! 11. HI everyone, I'm looking to apply to a university in Texas. So far I've looked at UTMB, my number one choice but that doesn't seem like it will work out for me because of my gpa. I'm looking for schools like Texas Women where only the last grade counts since I didn't do so well in my first year of classes. Does anyone know of any other universities in Texas that does this? I've got an orienation for UTHSC coming up, don't know if they look at all grades there too or not. Thanks in advance for any answers!! I'm really scared of applying if TWU is the only school that does this! I am almost done with all my prerequsites but does not know where I should apply! Any nursing school/info that you know of will def. help!
