Did you get a response from them? I called this morning and they told me that I should receive an email tonight, as they are waiting for TEAs denials.. I did emphasize that I did take the TEAs already and he said “then you should receive an email tonight, if not call tomorrow.”

@Jessc1023 Below is a copy of the email Mrs. Brust sent me. When I called, I was told that our situation was common with other applicants and that I should be receiving some sort of correspondence today. If I didn't, I should call back tomorrow.

However, this was at 9am. Still no email as of yet. If anyone receives an email that did not get the initial correspondence on Friday, please update if you're able to ? Fingers crossed we hear back today.

Did you guys received the teas test/score email? Or was it something about waitlist Mrs. Brust mentioned?

I'm curious. . .what do you think it meant when they said they are "waiting for TEAs denials". . .?

One scenario: they were waiting for people who had already taken the TEAs to deny moving forward with the process and therefore made room. . .or . . .?

What did these new emails say, (if anyone doesn't mind sharing) ?

@CNA_EMT my interpretation is that there is a waitlist when the lottery was pulled. So once some students denied the invitation (which they are crazy to do because Harbor is ranked top 6 in California for RN programs), then the alternates would theb get an invite.

It was just an invitation to take the TEAS/ submit scores

I got an invitation on Friday also but I’m really considering WCU, so if WCU gives me a good price, yet I get into LAHC, I’ll turn it down for WCU

I was also considering wcu but the cost scared me away... I read many different price range due to transferring pre requisites.

I would love to hear about the price tag they give you
