LaGuardia Community College

Hello all,

So I'm wondering-- how many of you have taken your prereqs at LAGCC as a non-degree student? I was unaware that I would have to re-apply to the school for Spring Session I (I am currently taking a sociology class for Fall Session II.). I guess it wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that they won't let me re-apply online; I have to actually go there in person. And to top it off, I have to wait until the end of February to re-apply because I am a non-degree student. The woman on the phone told me that non-degree students get LAST pick when registering for classes. Is this the case at all the CUNY schools? It doesn't seem fair. I don't know; I guess I am half-venting, half-curious.
