LACC Fall 2013

I just got accepted into the Los Angeles City College nursing program for Fall 2013! I am super excited and at the same time I am terrified! Does anyone know details about this college program? What can I expect during the first semester? Any advice? :)

    Totally off topic but OMG CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! I start next month at LACC working towards my prereqs. Inspiration! Thank you. How were your classes? Hard? Easy? Sorry this is my first year and I really want to get accepted into the nursing program there. How long did it take you to finish your prereqs?

    Thank you!:))) And congrats on starting next month!!! You're getting on the path towards becoming a nurse and that's great!!! I took all my prereqs at lavc and pierce college and have to say that the prerequisite classes are not difficult they are just time consuming. You have to study and NOT fall behind! Read the chapters until you understand and listen to the lectures. The hardest class for me was physiology (and that was because I was pregnant and tired all the time :D). They are not as scary as everyone says they are, and they are unbelievably interesting! Don't take many science classes at the same time because it will be more difficult. It took me four years but that was because I didn't know what I was studying towards and had taken many many classes, but usually it will take around two years. Good luck to you and don't give up! I got into nursing school on my first time applying and you will too! :)

    Frizzika, congrats!! you are about to finish your first year, right?? How has it been? I just got accepted too, for the fall 2014, and i feel the same way you did: excited and terrified!! Any good advices please???
