Hi everyone!
For one of my clinicals we have to come up with fun interesting ways to remember and teach a certain lab value and I was assigned hgb and hct. I am having trouble thinking of "creative" ways to remember and teach the values (we have to do them for both female and male).
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks

To the OP - one simple way to remember the normal hgb and hct values for females and males is just remember the numbers 12 and 15.
12 = hemoglobin value for females
15 = hemoglobin value for males
In terms of hematocrit, all you need to do is multiply each value by 3 (12/36 = hgb/hct for female; 15/45 = hgb/hct for male).
Hope this helps!
By the way, :welcome: !
