Hi! Anyone starting the achieve program in january?

I heard today from Kristin that I am officially starting in January, and will receive my letter within the week! I am so excited!!

Anyone else ready for Spring 2014??

Hi congrats to you. Can u tell me the process u had to go thru to apply? How long is the program? What exams did u have to take to get in?

Yes, I am almost finished with my compliance requirements.

Swhite1973, are you excited/nervous for Orientation? It will be here before we know it!

slave2homecare, the process is listed on Lasalle's website but I will give you some information on it. The first thing that I did was apply on the website..That made it easier because they will let you know what you need to do next. The next step was taking the NLN exam, and I purchased the review book to do well. During the whole process I was taking my pre-requisites required for the degree. You are also required to get background checks and child abuse clearances. Once they have all your information, they will make a decision. Once you are accepted as "Intended Nursing" and you are almost finished with your prereq's they will set up a final interview/meeting, and than a decision will be made after that... I hope that I helped you with your questions!

The program is 2 1/2 years once you start, but you finish with your BSN.

Best of luck to you.

Hi KRiley326...I am nervous.....But I am looking forward to starting this new phase....How about you?

I am very nervous, but really excited too! I am looking forward to meeting you..my name is Kaitlyn by the way!

Hi Kaitlyn: Nice to meet you. My name is Sue. I don't check this site that often. If you want, I can give you my email address and we can communicate that way.
