Well, I have not officially been accepted yet but was told I have to attend a meeting with the assistant director to discuss necessary documents, program requirements, and other general information regarding the ACHIEVE program. The e-mail states that all who attend a meeting will then have their file reviewed and will be notified by mail of an admissions decision. I don't think this is the same as the meeting you are talking about but I'm not sure!
When I met with the advisor prior to being accepted it was called an "interview". Are you referring to the same thing? If so, I wore a suit and we went over what the program entailed, grades, pre-reqs, etc. It was one-on-one. The actual "information session" that I went to about the program was open to anyone who wanted more info about the program, and they just answered generic questions about the program, what the admission requirements are, etc. I still wore business casual to that. You never know when they will remember you! Hope that helps. If you have more questions, feel free to ask. I just graduated from the Achieve program in January.
Thanks a bunch! I think they have switched over from interviews to 'information sessions.' The e-mail states the following:
All applicants interested in being considered are required to attend a meeting with me on campus where we will discuss the necessary documents, program requirements and other general information regarding the ACHIEVE Program. Everyone who attends a meeting will have their file brought to the Admissions and Academic Standards Committee for review. All students will be notified by mail of the decision.
So I'm just really not sure what to expect! I'm trying to prepare for a sort of interview but I'm not sure how prepared I should be.

Can anyone give a little insight as to what the information session for La Salle will entail? I have one coming up and I'm not exactly sure what to expect but I'd like to be slightly prepared! Has anyone been to one?
Thanks!!
