No clue... I accepted another college but that is the only school I didn't get any response from

Yeah they're the only one I haven't heard back from either. Congrats though for the other school!

Still haven't heard anything from them LOL I'm assuming I wasn't accepted

Hi all, LACC crossed my mind recently as I am a recent nursing grad from 2022. I just wanted to put a word out of advice - I highly highly highly recommend trying to get in to another program. If you do your research you will find that LACC is currently under a lot of scrutiny by the BRN and undergoing something called a "Program Viability Study" and well I am sure you can guess what that might mean. If you can get in anywhere else I would take that offer in an instant. I feel lucky to have graduated and gotten out by the skin of my teeth before things really started to go downhill (and I thought it couldn't get worse at the time LOL).

Anyway, I don't say this to scare people, rather to just make sure you are doing research on the programs that you are applying to, especially with regards to BRN compliance. You do NOT want to be a situation where you finally get into a program and then it gets shut down or paused.

Best of luck to you all!! Being on the other side, I can say that all the headache of getting into nursing school, graduating, and finally being able to practice independently is very satisfying.

Thank you for replying to the thread. I was accepted into a different program since LACC is taking forever to reply with admission or rejection letters.

Just wondering anyone has received any feedback from LACC?

I did get acceptance last week. I unfortunately rejected them because I decided to go to conah.

Congratulations! I'm applying CONAH for next cohort and thinking about the interview. Can you give the hints on how it looks like?

They tried to make the whole ordeal very casual which was amazing. They divided the students into groups of 2 or 3, did a fun activity to test ones ability to communicate with another. Then asked simple questions like why nursing? And a scenario question like if 2 days before application deadline you find out that one of your transcripts were not received,  what would you do. They were super sweet. Oh and we watch a video and wrote like a paragraph answering a question related to video.
