I am unaware of any organizations that will fund CNM education - however, most have tuition reimbursement benefits for their employees. Granted, this is usually not sufficient to pay for everything, but some organizations are more generous than others.
I don't have any idea how you would go about finding am OB new grad residency program in an environment that employs CNMs. In my part of the country, CNMs are more likely to be working in "undeserved area" (tax supported) hospitals - unfortunately, many of these organizations don't have a lot of funding for residency programs.... classic Catch 22.
Best of luck on completing your education & launching your nursing career.

Hi there. I am a student at Capital University in Bexley Oh. I am looking to get into a L&D residency program and eventually go back to school for midwifery. Relocating isn't a problem. Anyone know of good L&D residencies to apply to that also have midwives? Optimally, I would love for an institution to pay for me to get my CNM...advice please!?
