L&D conferences

Can anyone recommend any labor/delivery/maternal-newborn conferences that they have been to or know about?

I'm a new labor and delivery nurse that is looking for a great conference to attend.

I know about the awhonn one, but info on any others would be appreciated.

where are you located? My work is sending me to AWHONN this year and I am really excited!

There is one in Arkansas on October 23rd it's called the 2013 Perinatal Seminar put on by Baptist Health and they do it every year.

The annual Mother Baby Conf put on by the Academy of Neonatal Nursing is very good and actually has a lot of L/D stuff. It's in Sept each year. This year it is in Las Vegas.

The CIMS (Coalition for Improving Maternal Services) Forum was just last month, but those are great. Human Rights in Childbirth Conference is good.. I would search for "childbirth conferences" vs. "labor and delivery". Most of them have classes and intensives that offer nurse CEUs.
