Just wanting to know who all got in, where are you from, and where are you going to be living? Any insights on good places to live?

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am from Kansas, living in KC MO. I am moving to Hillsborough apartments in Mission in order to receive in state tuition. I have heard from a fellow nurse and our soon-to-be classmate that they are older style apartments but very affordable. What about you?

Sorry, I guess I should answer my own questions I posted. I'm Bryan from Las Vegas. My wife and I are wanting to move into the Overland Park area because of the school system for our kids. Any good tips on places, townhouse areas, or house areas?

I will ask my brother in law today. He has lived in the area his whole life and was a teacher at a high school here. All I know is what I (think I) know which is that the super wealthy kids attend shawnee mission east. Lol. So let me get back to you on that. Awesome to hear from a future classmate. Also glad they accepted at least some people from out of state-some schools dont do that.

He said: Johnson county has some of the best schools in the country. OP it's in the Shawnee Mission school district and I think Blue Valley is in this area as well. Both districts are really good as far as I know. Olathe school district is also a good district. Stay out of the Missouri side. And avoid Comanche elementary school.

Sorry, just now seeing this. I love our program. It is very difficult, but with hard work it is doable. I am very happy I selected KUMC.
