Hello this is my first time figuring out how to ask someone a question lol. I wanted to ask you if you know what kind of math is in the hesi test. I am not in the program yet but I have a test tomorrow and I was given 2 papers front and back with vocabulary on it to study but I just thought I would ask you since you have experience. I know there is fractions decimals percentages but is there any other kind of math in the test?

Niathenurse,
I actually havent took the Hesi entrance exam yet, but from what I hear it has in the math section: proportions, conversions, millitary time, Roman numerals, simple +,-,multiplication, and division, know how to convert percentages to decimals, and to fractions. Know how to add, substract, multiply, and divide fractions. That is pretty much it as far as for the math... A good study guide for it is the Hesi evolve reach Admission Assessment exam review, the ISBN# is 9781416056355... Good Luck to you.... Let me know if you need anything else. Once I actually take it I will let you know how it was.... Hopefully it will be soon.....

I know this is an old thread, but I am taking the HESI in a week or so and thought I would see if anyone else had infor on what type of math would be on it and what is most important to focus on. From what I hear it sounds like fractions and proportions are a biggie on the test... Anyone else have any other info?
