maybe you could work as a nursing assistant, but you have to have passed the NCLEX to be eligible to work as registered nurse. Additionally, (and not to sound too discouraging) I would be surprised if you found a job right away considering the state of the economy and so many places not wanting to hire new grads.
Good luck to you.
No idea, as I'll be a new grad myself in about a month. People keep telling me to look at long term care facilities as an option and to "be creative" (which I'm sick of hearing myself!). I also have been reading threads about the military and it looks like even some of those programs are inundated with nursing graduates looking for positions. I think it just depends on your region and your luck.
Good luck!

Hey, I graduated nursing overseas last march 09. My credentials are being mailed to be next month and I was wondering if I can possibly work in a hospital without them? What would I need to work? I'm just waiting for my credentials right now, but as soon as they arrive, I'm going to apply for the nclex. I'm in South Carolina right now. Your ideas and opinions would be great! Thanks a lot!
