I am planning to migrate to canada, ontario soon under PR.
Was wondering if someone from kenya could help me understand the registration process for an RN since currently i only hold a diploma in community health nursing and i understand for me to get registered i should have a BSN.
Does that mean i will have to do a bridging course or what?
Some from kenya who has gone through this process help!

This thread has been moved from the Canadian forum to the International forum as per instructions found in the pink banner at the top of the Canadian forum home page. The average nurse in Canada is going to have no idea what you're talking about.
You need to have your education assessed by the College of Registered Nurses in the province where you're planning to live. Only they can tell you what you're going to have to do to be eligible for a license in Canada. My guess is that you'll have to do a lot of upgrading or even re-educating since Canadian nurses are educated as generalists, having learned skills in all five of the main nursing specialties of medicine, surgery, mental health, maternal-child and pediatrics. There is no way around it.
