Kennesaw State Nursing Fall 2018

I am applying for Kennesaw Nursing for the Fall 2018, and saw that there has not been a thread started! I would like to know if anyone has applied to the Fall 2018 Nursing Program @ Kennesaw State University yet? If so, would you mind sharing your GPA and Teas Scores? This is so that I can get an knowledge of what I should be on average of. Also, I take my TEAS tomorrow and prayers would be greatly appreciated!!

I applied for the traditional program.

My stats are as follows

Overall GPA: 3.88

5/7: 3.8

7/12: 3.9

TEAS: 86

Competitive score: 84.5

Does anyone know when we will find out if we made it?

I was told just today that it will be late March/early April before decisions are made.

I just put in my application a few days ago. My GPA is kind of low because I wasn't serious my first semester, and because I had quite a few credits from high school that don't count towards my GPA, it brought by overall GPA down more than usual.

Overall GPA: 3.57

TEAS: 96

Anyone else getting emails from the Wellstar advising office? It's really throwing me off. Every time I get a message my heart skips a beat even though I know decisions won't come until end of March/early April.

What type of e-mails from the Wellstar advising office? I haven't received anything. I am currently at Georgia College in Milledgeville and have completed all my Core classes and I thought they would all transfer as well as my high school AP classes (I checked the minimum scores required to count and I meet or exceed them) have not been counted yet. Any advice on this? I have all of the pre-requisites for the nursing program, finishing up A& P II this semester.

Hey, try calling the admin office to ask, mine also wasnt done after a month or so till I gave them a call, and it was sorted out in about a week..

Has anyone heard anything? Waiting is PAINFUL. I applied for both traditional and accelerated but my first choice is accelerated.

The nursing department e-mailed me asking to send an electronic copy of my Summer classes when I am able to register for them.

Hey GXMbob, do you have AP credit for any of your pre-reqs? I've asked a few people and they haven't been clear as to whether AP/CLEP credit is acceptable for pre-reqs if they meet the minimum score requirements. At GSU it's fine, but the KSU staff I reached out to did not give a definite yes or no answer.

Hi,

I had to send my College Board Transcript for my AP classes which were just entered into my Degree Works. So I received credit for all of my classes. They met the minimum standards required by KSU. Also, they missed my transfer credit for Microbiology from Georgia College which according to their equivalency chart should be transferred. The person in the transfer department also made that correction. I am just missing an English course for one of the core classes, but am hoping that they see they I have met that Core area at Georgia College. Here is the person who responded to my questions in the registrar department. She is a transfer evaluation specialist. I also applied for both! No updates yet. The only email I have gotten was to let me know that they did not have my TEAS scores on file. They did say in that email that all future communication in regards to my application status would take place in my KSU email.
