Hello y'all! The interview process is similar to other schools. Regular interview questions portion (what made you interested, what kind of shadow exp you had, ect.) and a clinical question portion (BP/HR, medications, ect). The questions are pretty straight forward. If you know it, then answer. If you do not be afraid to say you do not know. Difficulty ranges since it felt they were trying to see what you know and need more practice. I probably sound like a broken record, but I don't think each interview was the same. If you interview, I wish you the best of luck! Focus and breathe, you have worked and prepped for it!
It is pretty scary going in depth, but I find excitement in that part of science. They can go in depth as when you are giving vasopressor what receptors do they react on and what affect does each one give? several can be more base level knowledge you would find in ACLS. This situation has happened would I want to give epi? or is there another 1st line medication such as norepi? I haven't gotten to much into ventilation but more perfusion, sedation, ethics.
