Keiser University CRNA Program - 2025

Hello all!!
This is for Kesier university's 2025 start in FL. I haven't seen any updated one so I'm creating one for those who are applying to either the January start or August start. Looking forward to connecting with you all! Best of luck everyone.

Do you know if they require gre? It looked as if on their website it  said "supplemental", so I was wasn't sure

Hey,

no Gre is not required. However if you take it and get a good score it'll make your application stronger. Good luck!

Thanks! I'm going to be applying then as soon as I'm done with chem II. Have you heard anything about the program? My first choice was USF, but I'm feeling like it'll be unlikely I get in so I'm looking at other options.

I'm wrapping up gen chem 1 and then taking gen chem 2 to apply!! And most of the feedback from the program has been from this site and it all seems positive. I also attended a zoom open house last week and the faculty seem supportive. I am also looking at USF which is my first pick too but shoot your shot you never know!

How did you find out about the zoom open house? I wish I had known. Hopefully they'll have another one soon.

Where are you guys taking Chem? I am using Portage Learning. Not sure if I like it.

I'm taking chem 1 and 2 at my community college, it's cheap and they're always great professors.. I know it takes a bit longer though

I also took my chem at a local CC. It's longer yes, but it's better quality education and WAY cheaper. I had an amazing Proffesor and finished with an A! I got the zoom link to my email. I'm part of their "mailing list". I'm sure you can email the admission coordinator and just ask to be added so you can be part of the next one.

Does anyone know when they will send out interview invitations for the Jan 2025 cohort ? And how soon do we find out we got in ?

Following. Also thinking about applying for Spring 2025

Anyone else get a call for an interview for the Jan cohort ?

Has anyone heard anything about Keiser's reputation? I have seen in previous Keiser threads Tampa hospitals disliking the way Keiser students are taught. Also, the CRNA is shadowed a few times works at a Fort Myers hospital and they stated they don't hire Keiser students. This raises questions about applying now.

Tampa does in fact hire Keiser students.. so that is false. I truly think it's what kind of clinical student you are going to be. You have to know your stuff.. you might have to work a little harder being a Keiser student. To me, I'd rather go there than not become a CRNA at all. There's a need for CRNAs right now, if you're a go getter kind of person, you'll get a job anywhere
