Thanks for the response, I kind of thought the attrition rate might be high since they have classes starting monthly. But it's a good fit for me, it's close to home and the schedule fits well w/my job. I'd rather go to a state college but IRSC's schedule is just impossible for me so I decided to check alternatives but wondered if they'd be looked at as 2nd rate by employers?
I'm not sure how employers would look at Kaiser. I just told my new employer that my R.N. degree was going to be completed through Excelsior University online. I was informed that as long as I wished to stay with them, they'd be happy to extend me a position to R.N from LPN. I'd say go with what works best for you.
Hi, I work at Florida Hospital and there are quite a few Keiser nurses on my very floor. I have never heard of anyone looking down on this institution. The only thing I know about Keiser is that it is very expensive and many say it is not worth the $$$. Other than that I have heard all good.
Certainly the RNs who I work with from Keiser are very good and seem happy with their choice of school.
But if it works for you and your employer is helping you I say go for it.
Of course you will be able to start your career much quicker if you go with them and you will get more individualized attention.
Good luck.
Is it 4 me

I'm considering attending since it is the best fit for my schedule and is close to my home/job. My employer will probably also pay part of the tuition. It's accredited and according to the FL Nursing board has about an 85% pass rate on the state board - not the best but not the worst either. But I'm wondering if hospitals see 'Keiser' and immediately refuse to hire you?? Thanks for any feedback =)
