Hi Dishes,
Try this link instead and choose the word "Public Review" in the upper right-hand corner: CSA Standards. There is an interim page that appears requesting your consent and acknowledgment that it's a draft and therefore not a published standard. You should merely have to click 'Continue' to get to the public review site. You can then pick the loaners standard from the list.
Let me know if this works.
Hi cathcort
I followed your new instructions but when trying to download the document, the following message appears; "To request a copy of the draft, please email the "CSA Contact" by clicking on their name to the left of this download documents box. If this item is a proposed adoption or endorsement, you can obtain a copy from the originating organization for a fee."
regards

Dear Nurses,
This thread is three-fold:
1) I'd like to share information with you on health and safety standards under development at Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and solicit your input to make them better.
2) Find out how you're using these standard in the field.
3) Get your suggestions for new topics.
Background:
CSA is a not-for-profit standards development organization that has been around for almost 100 years. It is well known for developing standards in OHS, building, oil, gas and electric, etc. What folks may not know is that CSA has also been active in developing national and international health care safety standards for over 50 years! For example we have developed standards in surgical plume removal, surgical lasers, transplantation, medical gas, health care facilities, reprocessing and many more.
