Just wondering if anyone on here has used an Army recruiter out of the Kansas City office? If so is there a recruiter there that you would recommend talking to? I have talked to SFC AL from STL but he just doesn't return calls so I was going to switch if I found a better recruiter to talk with. Thanks for you help.

I spoke with an Army reserve nursing recruiter a year ago- but decided to go AFR. The Army recruiters name and contact number are: SFC Patricia Mitchell- Overland Park, KS. Her phone number is 913-469-1779. Hope this helps and good luck!

Thanks for the reply. Not to switch it up on you or anything but for the AF did they make you go talk to someone in NE? I live in Columbia so I called the recruiter station in STL but I was told that since I am in an RN-BSN program at UCMO then I have to talk to the guys that cover that school-which he said was NE. I decided that since I am going to go back in then I need to be open to all the branches, not just the army.

Well, I am going the reserve route, not active, so this may not pertain to you as it appears you are looking at active duty. I just finished my BSN at MU last year, but have been a nurse for 22 years. I spent several weeks making phone calls to find an AF healthcare recruiter- they are hard to find. I am working with one out of Norman, OK. I've done all the work via internet, having never seen him face to face, but it seems to have been fairly seamless process. I am scheduled to do MEPS in KC. If all goes accordingly, I will be drilling at Scott AFB in St. Louis. I can't imagine why they would send you to NE. I would keep asking questions.

FYI- I just started UCMO's FNP program this summer. Just noticed you were finishing your undergrad there.
