Kaplan's RN Program...

Hello everyone! I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Kaplan's ADN program. I am starting on Wednesday (& clinicals in July) but am seriously worried because I don't know if I'll be able to find a JOB after I'm done. Kapln is very expensive, & I can't seem to find any info on accreditation....I am looking for feedback on your experiences, & any advice you may have for me.

You should be able to get all the accreditation info from the school. I believe it will depend on which Kaplan you are planning to attend.

Im in the process of applying for Kaplans ADN program in Las Vegas.

I have never gone to Kaplan, but I have been to many of the Nevada board nursing meetings. I have to say Kaplan has an exceptional program, with a strong nursing administrative team. They are new and and not yet accredited so you take some risk in going to that program, but given the success of their LPN program I would say the risk is minimal.

I graduated from an unaccredited ADN program in October of this year. I had three job offers in the first month after I graduated.

Yes. I actually just found out yesterday that i have been accepted (For this Fall)!! Im very excited to start.

I just had a baby and during my stay at the hospital there were several students from Kaplan making their rounds with the nurses/staff. I asked each of them how they liked the school and they all seemed really happy with it. I also asked the nurses about the Kaplan students and they all said they LOVE Kaplan students. One of the nurses even said "we always hire Kaplan students".

congratulations sarah (on the baby and school)! study hard! nursing school is one of the hardest things you will ever do, but it is so worth it.
