What small town? Are you near Beatrice? If you are at all interested in going on for an RN, I would go to Southeast CC for the LPN, or at least for your pre-reqs so you can save yourself some money and transfer credits later.
Well I am already in Kaplan. Been on the waiting list for SCC since 2001 when I moved up here from Kansas. Ya may have to pay more but its worth then the long wait . I had no pre-rqu to take or anything and really love the small classes. I live in Milford. :typing
Good point. I know how that waiting list can be. You can't put your life on hold for forever.

We are moving "home" to Tecumseh in July. I currently live in Kansas. I was so disappointed at the wait. I have been working hard to get my pre-requisites done. Where we live now it would have only been a year wait for the RN. I'm really lost over this. It seems there are just a handful of colleges that offer the RN program up there. Omaha would be a bit too much of a drive. (it's about 80 miles. But, I'm beginning to think it may be worth it.)
Well I heard threw the grape fine that after Kaplan get the new building up and going they are talking about starting a RN program. Just have to wait and see. I hope they do. I like the small class environment.
