Kaplan Question Trainers and Readiness tests

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Hey guys, I just finished all my Kaplan tests and the scores are as follows:

Q-bank: finished 100% and have an average of 61% correct

QT6- 59%

QT7- 66%

Readiness test- 66%

I take NCLEX on Monday and Im feeling pretty good about it so far. Still going to review some things before I test, but I just wanted to know if anyone out ther had similar scores, and if you passed on the first try. Just trying to ease my mind a little haha

thanks!

Reading these comments are a blessing. I take my N-Clex in exactly 8 days. I'm doing a lot of questions as well as reviewing some material and working on my weakest areas. My instructor told our class to take trainer 7 3 or two days before testing. I averaged a 55% on the q bank questions and a 61% on the readiness test. Trainer 5 I got a 60%. my goal is to do better on trainer 6 and 7. I know you'll do well on your exam. Wish you many blessings and God will confirm the results for you.

I'm studying with Kaplan and I find it hard to use the decision tree too at times but I'm trying. I take mine in a week.[/quote']

I did Kaplan and didn't use the decision tree on NCLEX. I went w/ assessment before implement, acute before chronic & don't assess when in distress. That helped me a lot. The tree just caused me more anxiety!!

what is the good pop up that everyone is referring to? thanks

Officially passed!!!!

Congratulations on passing the NCLEC!!! if i may ask what is the "desicion tree" you're talking about? is it the kaplan online review?? or is that the qbank?

Thank you everyone! As you all know this is super stressful! I have always had confidence issues and I'm trying my best to just be positive! I'm studying and preparing the best I can! I pray my mind is as clear as it can be on test day and I pass first time. I'm in the Air Force and my husband has been in Afghan for the last 6 months I want to be able to enjoy time with him with no worries end of July for 2 weeks before he goes back until December! I appreciate your prayers and positive feedback! Congrats to everyone who has already passed! I test 3 July!

The decision tree is through Kaplan. It's supposed to help you in answering questions, like what to look for first. As stated before, it gets confusing and sometimes there's not time to use it for every question. And the Pearson Vue trick is where, after you take the NCLEX, you try to register again with Pearson Vue. If you get a pop up stating you are already scheduled for a test, or something like that, it means you passed. If it takes you all the way through to the credit card page it means you failed. It's not 100% accurate, more like 99.99% accurate!

I find this thread reassuring. I take the test in two days and have been scoring in the 60s-70s on the Qbank, Qtrainers and the sample tests. I love this short list of things to remember bidg0809! Thanks!

Lol thanks! You so got this : )

I take the test in 2 weeks. I finished my qbanks and averaged a 52...I heard if you're in the 60's you're ready. My score just makes me so much more nervous about taking it. My questions trainers are also in the 50's...I have qt6 and qt7 left to do. Right now I'm just redoing questions I got incorrect and rereading rationales...I"M SO NERVOUS!!!!!!!! I can't sleep or eat.

Just keep at it, youll do great. Good luck!
