Yes, keep doing all test trainers and the qbank at least twice. I just passed my boards on March 3rd using kaplan. I read each and every rationale twice. Although I new the answer, I still read it over. I did at least 50 to 80 questions a night. If that is to many questions, commit yourself to at least 50, make sure you read all rationales over, the more you see the question and rationale, it will stick, just remember, their is only so many ways they can word a question. Also, I watched all those videos and what really helped me, I took notes from those questions. During the boards, I barely did test taking strageties, I felt it better if I new the content, so that's why I had my own nclex book. For example. If the question talked about an air embolism, I wrote down the s/s, what interventions and treatments to do for the pt. I did it for every last question, including the test trainers. Saunders was a great re-inforce study tool. You have to know what the question is asking, get rid of the fluff in the question and then re-phrase it. Kaplan did random quesitons, but saunders break it down by system. I never read the book, unless it was something that I didn't know. The key to passing is do alot of questions. If you need more information, please pm me and I would be happy to share study tips with you and we can do questions.
