HELP!! I am going to be taking the kaplan nursing entrance exam in spring of 2016. I have already purchased the kaplan study guide, but from the few posts I have read people are saying that it doesn't help for the reading/writing sections; which are my weakest subjects. If anyone who has taken the test can help give me an idea of what to study and what the test is like I would be more than grateful!! I have tried to find info online, but there still doesn't seem to be that much. Maybe people can give me examples of the questions and what to expect? For all sections? Thank you so much in advance!

I'm taking the Kaplan in a few weeks. I have the study book, but the reading section in my opinion is extremely difficult. I have downloaded an app for the teas exam to study reading and math. I have also researched what is covered on it to be more prepared, and researching those topics. Good luck! I will post when I find out my grade!
So I took my exam today and wanted to give a helpful insight.
Reading- This section is pretty much self explanatory. They give you a passage, and you answer questions based upon it.
Math- This was actually a fun and easy section. Know your fractions, percentages, and decimals!
Writing- This was tricky. I would use any grammar book to help study for this. It had things like punctuation and what words to omit.
Science- This was the worst section because there is so much to study, and such a broad area.
Tips: Don't buy the Kaplan book for this exam... waste of money. I would buy the Teas app ($9.99 on the AppStore) and study the reading, grammar, fractions, ratios, and basic math sections.
Hope this helps someone!
Thank you so much for your input!!! I take my test March of 2016 and I am so nervous! I just finished my last term of prerequisites and now I am going to focus on studying for this exam. So much depends on this one exam that it is very nerve racking! If you don't mind me asking, how did you do? And what kind of science questions were there? Also was the science section strictly A&P? Sorry to bombard you with questions, I am just having a lot of issues finding any information on this test! Thank You!!!!
