Hi!
From what I can remember...
reading: I would do a lite read through the passage and look at the question. Than go back to the area in question and reread. I felt some of the answers to choose from where a little tricky in sense of answer that could be implied but wasn't actually said.
so I would ask myself "what is actually being said here ?" Than select the answer accordingly.
I score the highest in this category
writing:
this area I actually failed the first time and had to retake KAT because of this stupid section. Lol
i would lightly read the passage but don't think too much on it. I do it to get an idea what it is about.
know what subject-verb agreements. Refresh your self with what parts of sentence are: prepositions, adverbs , etc.
a lot of questions asking to omit a sentence or where you would move a sentence. Which sentence had a mistake. I can only remember 1-2 questions where the mistake was very obvious.
Math:
brush up on fractions and percentages. Felt like this was pretty easy math. One question I remember was a nurse has this amount of meds, patient needs this much then and this much later does she have enough? It was fractions.
Science:
this is ALL a&p. All question I remember is the blood flow of the heart. It was a lot of stuff on ap2. Renal, cardio, respiratory, renal etc.
hope this kinda helps. Good luck!!
