Kaplan CAT exam

Hi, I just got it as well and mine shut off at 140 something and it wont give me my results... confused lll

i did about a week ago. it shut off at 77. out of the 3 exams, i only tried the first one. i got overall green and yellow on every thing else. i wish i can explain what it means! i took nclex twice already.

I just reviewed my cat 1 and i got yellow in all expect one so it calculated a red overall. It is frustrating. I do not feel like it is nclex like at all. What did you feel about it? I am a repeat tester and have used kaplan uworld hurst ati and other programs but still have not passed :/

honestly i dont understand it, more reason i did only the first exam.what are you using now to prepare?. i used kaplan the first time, i failed at 135, second time i used uword and still failed(ran out of time on 228). but i feel a lot better now. when i did uword, the highest i got was 66.. others from 35 and up. i didnt finish it because of my deadline. am using uworld again after reading too many review about it. i did about 1000 right now. i do 100 questions daily. 25 at a time. read every rationale and make a little note on the ones that am confused about. my scores jumped, ranging from 68% to 84%. i noticed all the mistakes i did. get Lacharity too. it will help you with priority and delegation. from my nclex experience, uword is the only thing so far closest to nclex questions. hey! we can do it.

Your story sounds just like mine. I ran out of time last november and i used uworld as well. I have not tested since. Now i did hurst and i am doing this kaplan cat thing. I did not get uworld hence using it 3 times and not passing, along with other materials. I pray for us to pass. When do you test?

i failed the second time on september 2nd. i plan testing again october,once the 45 days wait period is over. i did florida twice.i live in texas, am doing texas this time. i hope it will be different. did you use Lacharity? if not pls get it! the book is maggic. my scores went up magically after using the book or online practice question. i used the practice question not the book, depends on what works for you.am praying we pass, am mentally tired!

I passed my exam on October 4th, I used only two of the cat exam and to tell you the truth it didn't really help. The only thing it did was give him a overall result of green which I took as a pass though they say this isn't a prediction test like u world or Kaplan assessment unfortunately. I did two of the cat exams, the first exam stopped at 76 and the second at 265 with both giving me the green overall so that gave me some confidence. I started the third one but it passed 75 then 100 then 150 so I figured it was going to 265 and I really felt I could be using that time to use uworld instead so I stopped and that was that.

Other materials I used were Kaplan qbank, u world, a little of PDA, Feuer review and a little of ReMar review for certain things. I feel they all helped, I am repeat test taker, been out of school for 3 years and this was my third attempt.

congratulations!!! i passed my exam on the oct 17th as well. yes CAT didnt help me either. first one stopped me at 77,overall green and the rest yellow. second one stopped me at 75, overall green and the rest yellow excpet pharm was green and i suck at that! the 3rd one went all the way to 265. and again overall green. lacharity and mark audio did the maggic for me.everything he said was on the exam! am so happy this exam is over finally! i cant believe i am an rn!

Did you do the whole QB 4 Kaplan...what part of the Remar review did u do...how were your Uworld scores

Hi, Did you passed after this CAT? I got same overall red and everything yellow and worrying.
