Hello, The previous thread regarding Kaplan College 2012 was closed, so I thought I would check in with everyone that has or is applying for the January cohort. Anyone get confirmation for January acceptance yet? Sent from my iPhone.

I am applying for the Jan 2014 program. I got a 27 on the wonderlic and an 89 and 86 on the ktp. Hoping I get in, and my odds are better than they've been at the community colleges. Anyone else applying or anyone whose gotten in, do you think my scores are good enough? They also told me that now, you can take the wonderlic a maximum of four times to try to get a higher score. Did anyone else hear that?

I tried to reply, but I am not sure where my post went. Anyway, did you end up doing the KTP and if so, have you heard back on the September cohort?

Your scores are good. Are you an LVN or do you have a BA in a different field? I have not heard anything about retaking the wonderlic, I only remember one could retake the KTP in order to raise the scores. Things may have changed though.

Thanks, I have been a CNA for almost five years, I got my CNA at miracosta college. When I went to the forum about a month and a half ago they said the wonderlic was just supposed to be passed and then you're done, but my rep told me I could try to get a higher score after I passed it. Not sure if that's accurate... I'm mostly curious to see what other people's scores for the ktp looked like who got in so I can see how good my chances are.

Five years as a CNA is great! Unless something has changed, the wonderlic is first and a must pass with a 24 or higher ( you did that). Second is the KTP in which the goal is to get a score in the 90's. Your scores are really close to that, but if you can take it again for a higher score, I would and did :) I got into the LVN-ADN bridge this last January so I'm going on term three next month. My scores were similar to yours except in the math section I scored in the 90's the second time around. I hope that helps and best of luck to you with your admission process :)
