Kaiser NorCal Nurse Residency Fall 2023 Cohort 7

Hello everyone! I just wanted to create this for all those interested in the Kaiser Nurse Residency for new grads application that has a start date of 8/4/2023 - 8/8/2023 Winter Cohort 7 that will start on 12/4/2023.

Informational webinar for the Winter Cohort 7 will be held on 8/1/2023 at 10 a.m (PST).

Wait, can someone give an example mathematiclaly on how to add up the nursing courses for the GPA? Im just a bit confused and I don't want to mess up >.<

Hey, don't overthink it ? go to your schools website and find your unofficial transcripts. Identify all the nursing courses and add up all the grade points and separately add up all the credits. Then, take the sum of the points over the sum of the credits. Think critically: does this number make sense? Do it twice if you're worried about messing up or have someone else check your math. You can also try plugging all that data into an online GPA Calculator but if you do it that way, do it by hand also to to ensure you get the same number.

We are able to round so if it ends in 0.9 round to the nearest tenth.

If I remember correctly, I think they'll notify who gets an interview on the 17th! Since the career snapshot isn't due until the 14th 8am pst

Does anyone want to practice for the interview in case we get in? I know some people who got in and that had some great advice.
